Advanced exterior and interior solutions

Our Mission...

...is to provide the most advanced exterior and interior solutions in order to give beauty, style, comfort and durability of your building.

Façade – the front of the building – is the architecture’s most important part. In addition to the modern design it gives to your buildings, the façade plays an important role in weather resistance, the longevity of the building and its adaptation toward different urban areas.

This is FRONT’s mission, too –

– to provide the most advanced exterior and interior solutions in order to give beauty, style, comfort and durability of your building.

What is a ventilated façade?

Ventilated façades are wall-cladding systems that offer a space between the external layer (the panel) and the internal one (insulation) to allow air circulation (ventilation). By cladding it with ventilated façade you provide your building a range of advantages including temperature maintenance and moisture prevention.

Ventilated façade advantages

Ventilated façade provides a lot of advantages, such as:

  • Prevents moisture inside your living area,
  • Keeps the freshness during the summer,
  • Keeps the warmth during the winter,
  • Extends the longevity of the building,
  • Offers a variety of options in terms of building’s appearance (color and shape combinations),
  • Up to 30% more economically effective, compared with traditional facades.

Ventilated facades and the architecture

Besides practical effects, mentioned in the technical explanation above, ventilated facades are very beautiful and adaptive systems in different architectures, too. They can be combined in shapes and colors, allowing you to give your object of various designs.

“Ventilated façade allows the moisture to come out and stops it to go inside your living area”.

Ventilated Façade Structure

Ventilated façade constructive elements

The insulation layer – is the first element and is very important for hydro-thermic advantages of your building. It is built from the inner layer, rock wool, and the outer one, diffusive foil, a thin membrane that allows moisture to move in one direction (from the inside out), but prevents it to move in the direction other (by outside inside).

Sub-construction is the basic part of the ventilated facade and where the external panels are caught and reinforced. This acts as a skeleton for the external facade panels, and therefore should provide long-term stability.

Panels are the external and most visible façade layer. Besides that gives beauty to the building, this part of the façade is the one that comes into contact with the external factors such as climate, physical or chemical stress, so it must meet certain additional quality. Our company, FRONT, provides few qualitative solutions for the external layer of ventilated façades:

  • FunderMax Exterior F Quality – are HPL-Compact panels of the highest quality that can be applied in ventilated facade.
  • Cembrit fiber cement – are outstanding life settings with fibre cement based building materials for ventilated facade.
  • EKOTON Terracotta – are clay tiles that show a high resistance toward different atmospheric agents.

Insulation

The rockwool is the first layer and the one that touches the wall and offers the first hydro, thermo and acustic protection to your building. In the projects we made, we use rockwool from the german producer Knauff Insulation.

Diffusive foil is another part of the insulation layer. Known also as wind barrier, it is a thin membrane that allows moisture to move in one direction (from the inside out), but prevents it to move in the direction other (by outside inside). Diffusive foil is the main prevention for moisture to go inside your living area.
